The Voluntary Organisations Disability Group (VODG) is delighted to announce the appointed of new trustees to the board.
The appointments come at a crucial time that sees VODG further developing its membership support offer and its influence externally.
Joining the board are:
Chris Hampson, Chief Executive at Look Ahead
Chris is highly experienced and well-networked across social care, housing and health sectors.
John Heritage, Chief Executive at David Lewis
John has significant executive and non-executive experience especially in the NHS, education and social care.
Jo Land, Chief Executive at Avenues
Jo is a proven leader with a strong background in HR and employment law.
Anna McEwen, Chief Executive at Headway East London
Anna has a strong career spanning the voluntary sector, including at Shared Lives Plus.
Irene Sobowale, Chief Executive at Disabilities Trust
Irene is highly qualified finance and business leader committed to an equitable society for all.

Chris Hampson, Jo Land and Irene Sobowale have been co-opted to the board with appointments to be confirmed at the AGM. To support succession planning John Heritage and Anna McEwan will be formally co-opted as new vacancies arise.
