VODG is excited to announce the appointment of three new trustees to its board. These board members will play a pivotal role in shaping the future direction and strategic growth of the organisation.

I am delighted and honoured to be joining the VODG board of trustees. At a time when social care is under enormous strain, I am pleased to be able to support the vital work of VODG to help strengthen the sector and amplify the voices of member organisations so that those who need our support can get the services they need. I’m really excited to be part of VODG’s next chapter.

The new trustees collectively bring a wealth of experience, and their diverse skill sets will be crucial in advancing VODG's mission of supporting our members in supporting disabled people of all ages to live the lives they choose.

I am proud to be joining the board of VODG. I have worked in social care for more than 25 years, and collaboration and working in partnership to overcome the unprecedented challenges the sector currently faces has never been more important. The power of VODG is in the expertise and diversity of its membership, and I look forward to playing my part in harnessing that power and supporting VODG as we focus on creating the right future for people who rely so much on social care to live their best life.
