My Vote My Voice Campaign Update
A successful launch
We launched My Voice My Vote a month ago in Parliament. Since then, the momentum has kept building - we now have over 35 organisations signed up for the campaign and 12 Accessible Voting Champions.
The My Vote My Voice survey is live
Please share the survey far and wide and work with people with learning disabilities and autistic people to complete the survey before the end of April.
We will use these results to drive the campaign forward and produce a report to share with journalists, politicians, policymakers and the public to highlight why politics needs to be accessible and inclusive.

Understanding the new Voter ID requirements – free webinar for social care workers and volunteers
My Vote My Voice and the Electoral Commission are pleased to offer this free webinar to our campaign supporters. The webinar will help you understand the new requirements around Voter ID and how to support people in preparing for the changes. We’ll also discuss the campaign and our work to make voting accessible.
While this webinar is designed for people supporting someone to vote, it’s an excellent opportunity for us all to learn how to prepare for elections day.

Please help us build a movement
We’re encouraging other organisations to sign our charter and become a supporter. If organisations or groups in your network haven’t signed up, please point them in our direction. By taking a couple of minutes to ask them to do this, you’re helping more people access our free resources and information.
Remember, if you’re doing something brilliant to make democracy accessible, tell us so we can share your work, events and resources too! So please do keep in touch and tag #MyVoteMyVoice on social media.
Remember to use our assets
Please continue to share that you are part of the My Vote My Voice coalition. We have put together a brand toolkit which contains the following:
- Information about the campaign
- Logos and brand guidelines
- Social media assets
- A media release template so that you can share your involvement in our campaign with your local media
- Messaging and sample social media posts
