Dare to Defy | Inclusive Run
“Run to the Future” is an inclusive run taking place in September, which will be part of the final episode of a 3-part Amazon Docuseries called “Dare to Defy”, which is sponsored by Nissan and focusses on celebrating diversity and breaking down barriers in sport.
All episodes build up to a final inclusive run called "Run for the Future". This event, held at the Olympic Park in London, is scheduled for 15 September and aims to welcome all runners, regardless of their abilities, to run alongside pioneers in the communities such as Adele Roberts (former Radio 1 presenter and LGBTQ+ and hidden disability advocate) and Richard Whitehead (MBE & world record holder) in a 5K or 2K run.
Individuals from the disabled (hidden or visible), LGTBTQ+ and BAME communities are encouraged to get involved, whether that’s through running/walking or cheering.
If you are interested in being involved contact Eilish Convery, who may be able to offer discounted tickets.
Individuals can enter the run here, and can request a trained Support Runner if required.
