Respond

Respond exists in order to lessen the effect of trauma and abuse on people with learning disabilities, their families and supporters.

Formed in 1991, Respond receives some core funding from the Department of Health, and accepts referrals from PCTs, Local Authorities and various Social Services Departments.

The Clinical Team

Respond provides options that help to address the needs of people with learning disabilities who are affected by abuse and trauma. Our staff are multi-skilled and we pride ourselves on our ability to help individuals with complex needs to come to terms with their experiences.
