Deafblind UK specialises in supporting anyone who is impacted by deafblindness across England, Wales and Northern Ireland. We’re on a mission to support people to live better with sight and hearing loss.
We’re looking for a Research and Education Lead to drive our research initiatives, develop educational resources, and promote best practices in deafblind accessibility. If you have experience in research and education and you’re eager to shape policy, influence and deliver training, and enhance knowledge, then we want to hear from you!
What you’ll be doing:
- Conducting and supporting research on deafblindness, accessibility, and inclusion
- Developing and delivering educational materials and workshops
- Collaborating with universities, professionals, and advocacy groups
- Translating research findings into practical solutions and policy recommendations
Ideally, you will have:
- Experience in both research and education
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- A passion for disability rights and inclusive education
- The ability to engage with diverse stakeholders, including professionals and the deafblind community
