We are delighted to announce that the next meeting of the VODG Quality and Safeguarding professional network meeting will take place online on 11 July 2024, 14.00 - 16.00.
We have a full agenda for this meeting including informative speakers and member-led discussions. We will first hear from Maria Dunn, Senior Associate at Trowers & Hamlins, who will be speaking about Duty of Candour - what it is, and what members should know about it. This will be followed by a group discussion where members can share their experiences of the issues around Duty of Candour.
Next Simone McCaskill, Head of Quality at PSS (UK) and VODG co-chair, will be speaking about Learning from Practice, which will be followed by a member-led discussion to reflect and expand on the themes raised.
Following the thread that began at the last meeting in March, Tanya Emmons, Senior Quality Assurance Manager and Rhoda Iranloye, Group Director of Quality, Governance & Lived Experience at Dimensions will each be giving a short talk, sharing their experiences on different aspects of quality assurance and improvement before our final session, which invites members to consider and share ways to evidence quality other than audit.
This packed programme is not to be missed so don't delay in booking your place.
