VODG Negotiation, Influencing and Persuasion Skills (London)

To support senior colleagues involved in contract negotiations with funders, this interactive and activity-based event uses interactive drama with professional actors to explore new ways of negotiating with and influencing commissioners.

To support senior staff involved in contract negotiations with funders, VODG is working in partnership with Nelson Training to provide this interactive and activity-based event, using facilitated and interactive drama with professional actors to explore new ways of negotiating and influencing with commissioners.

This event will focus on support and further developing:

  • the art of persuasive influencing skills and learn to adapt influencing styles so the case for your work is important
  • subtle, fair approaches and knowing what to give away, when to make demands and how to compensate when there are difficulties
  • the dynamics of influencing people, expanding sphere of influence and direct negotiations
  • effective decisions making and making the most effective means of communicating information.

NOTE: 

This event was originally scheduled to take place  4 October, however, due to announced rail and underground strikes, the meeting has been postponed to take place 16 November. Attendees originally booked to attend 4 October have been automatically moved to the new date.
