HM Revenue and Customs has published a brief on the use of VAT grouping structures within the care industry. This is likely to have significant implications for some members. We met with DHSC and HMRC officials yesterday and have arranged a VODG member briefing on Monday.
This is an opportunity for members to hear directly from HMRC on the actions they plan to take on VAT grouping structures and to ask clarifying questions. DHSC will also be available.
We will follow this briefing with a private, member-only session for Chief Executives and Finance Directors, so we can start to ascertain the impact on members and discuss next steps.
