The next meeting of the Learning and Development professional network is now open for booking.
This meeting will continue our recent theme of accessibility.
We are delighted to welcome Eva Kilar-Magdziarz of The Digital Learning Institute who will be speaking about the different ways to approach accessibility in training, including the Universal Design for Learning guidelines, which seek to improve and optimize teaching and learning for all people. Participants are encouraged to come along to talk about the specific challenges they face regarding accessibility, as well as any best practices or experiences they are willing to share.
After a short break, Heidi Waight, Organisation Development Manager at Fitzroy will be sharing her organisation's approach to the Level 2 Care Certificate, following which we invite members to share their own experiences.
The Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training is a topic that remains on everyone’s agenda, and so we will be holding a short discussion on members’ experiences of accessing the training to inform VODG’s policy work.
Please book your place today to avoid missing this exciting event.
