VODG member CEOs* are invited to our bilateral meeting with Kate Terroni, who currently serves as the Interim Chief Executive at the Care Quality Commission (CQC). This exclusive session has been organised by VODG in response to the recent tumultuous events at the regulatory body. The primary objective of this meeting is to provide an opportunity for VODG members to engage directly with the leadership of the CQC. During the meeting, participants will have the chance to gain insights from CQC's leadership, share their own perspectives, and delve into issues impacting their organisations.
This meeting is an additional session to the regular quarterly CQC meeting, which is open to all members. It will take place on 17th October (online).

Kate Terroni is our Interim Chief Executive.
Kate Terroni, a former social worker and Director of Social Services, is the Interim Chief Executive at the Care Quality Commission (CQC). Kate has a passion for ensuring that people get access to high quality, joined up, person-centred care and that people get the right support at the right time delivered by a workforce who are compassionate and valued for the skilled support they deliver.
Kate was previously our Chief Inspector of Adult Social Care and Integrated Care, joining us in May 2019. She has also been our Chief Operating Officer and our Deputy Chief Executive.
