In this session, we will explore how charities can leverage the Governance Code as a structured framework to elevate governance standards.
Effective governance is crucial for guiding and enabling all facets of a charity's operations, including decision-making, risk management, and accountability. It also serves as a cornerstone of a comprehensive Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategy, encompassing responsible and sustainable business practices.
In this session, we will delve into how charities can leverage the Governance Code as a structured framework to elevate governance standards. This includes establishing transparent and ethical practices, ensuring board effectiveness, and fostering a culture of integrity and accountability. Furthermore, we will examine how these efforts are complemented by the NCVO Charity Ethical Principles, which emphasise ethical conduct, integrity, and responsible stewardship of resources within the charitable sector.
Join MHA, a trusted partner of VODG, for this informative session. We will review the Code and provide practical tips and examples of best practices.
Please note, should you have any accessibility requirements, we will do our best to make necessary arrangements to support you; however, we may require up to four weeks notice, so please list your requirements on the booking form.
