Join us on 15 July from 10:00 to 15:00 at NCVO in Central London for a day of insightful discussions, networking, and sector updates. This event is designed for senior colleagues in operations, quality, and safeguarding to connect, share knowledge, and gain valuable insights.
The day will kick off with arrival and networking, along with refreshments, from 10:00 to 10:30. Kerry Hamilton, Head of Membership at VODG, will welcome attendees, followed by introductions led by the VODG Co-chairs.
We will start with our first session of the day at 10:50. We're still working on the agenda and timings, but confirmed speakers include Harry McElwee, Partnership Advisor at the Department for Work and Pensions. Harry will discuss recent benefits reform and its implications. This will be followed by an update from Philip Boyce, Inspector at CQC, sharing key insights at 11.20. A short break at 11.50 will provide some time for refreshments and networking.
After the break, at 12:00, Jonathan Taylor, Director, Head of Corporate Risks Health at Care, Howden, will provide a sector update and discuss strategies for providers to improve premium costs. A complimentary lunch will be served at 13.00, giving attendees more opportunities to connect.
Following lunch, additional sessions will follow, with details to be confirmed, at 14:00 and 14.30. The day will conclude with a final round-up at 14.55, led by Kerry Hamilton, before officially ending at 15.00.
Places are limited. Don't miss this opportunity to engage with fellow professionals and stay updated on essential sector topics. We look forward to seeing you there!
